Everyone did such an amazing job with last weeks sketch challenge, we really love looking at all of your amazing cards! Thank you so much for playing along and inspiring us each week! This week's challenge is to make a monochromatic card. Please remember that our challenges are optional, any winter or Christmas card is perfect, we just want to help you get a jump start on your holiday cards. Also, it is not required that you use a SCRS stamp to participate, but we sure love it when you do.
It is also the first challenge of the month which means there is a Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps up for grabs for one lucky random participant! Good luck and have fun!
Our guest designer for December is Brenda Rose, here is a little bit about her in her own words.
Hi there! My name is Brenda Rose, and I am so happy to be joining you as a guest designer at Sparkle's Christmas Card Challenges! I have been playing for several months and love the inspiration I find here. Don't you think it's a great idea to work on Christmas cards all year long?!
I am an avid paper crafter. I having been scrapbooking for 20+ years. It became my obsession about 7 years ago. I was a Close To My Heart Director and taught about 60 people per month in my home. I also taught at a LSS and most recently I became certified to teach EK Success's Scrapbook Design & You classes. I love everything paper. It doesn't matter if I'm crafting cards, scrapbook pages, or altered gifts. I just love the creativity that this hobby allows. I am of the belief that everyone should express their individuality through paper crafting and that there is no right or wrong. What is important is that you love what you are doing!
There are such fun challenges here this month! I know it's a busy time, but perhaps you can find the time to squeeze in a card (or two or three) during the month. Paper therapy can be a wonderful stress reliever during busy times! I look forward to seeing what you create!
