2010 Christmas Card Challenge Week #50

Hi ya'll!

Wow! We're totally amazed at the awesome turn out last week. You guys are rockin' those Christmas cards! We are so inspired and thankful to have all of you join us each week.

Before we get to this weeks challenge, we have a winner from last weeks entries.  Thanks to Random.org, Congrats to #89 - Pinky!  Please send me an email (onecraftychica@gmail.com) with your address so that I can get your stamp out to you.

This weeks challenge is to create a shaped card. By shaped card, I mean something other than a traditional square or rectangle. Remember that any winter/Christmas card is good for our challenges, we just want everyone to have fun and be ready to mail out cards with out the last minute rush.

This week we have one of my favorite people joining us as our guest designer. I'm pretty sure most of you know her, from her weekly sketch challenges on her blog, I {heart} To Stamp. Please welcome Jen del Muro! Here is a bit about Jen, in her own words.

My name is Jen del Muro and I am an avid rubber stamper and paper crafter. I don’t know when my love for paper and all things paper related started, but it has grown from just a love to a complete obsession and {almost} daily activity for me. I was introduced to the Stampin’ Up line of products a few years back and ever since then, I have been hooked on stamping. While SU! was my first love, it certainly wasn’t my last. I am glad that I have been introduced to several lines of stamps and stamping/paper crafting products.

My favorite stamping site of all-time is Splitcoaststampers.com. The first time I ventured onto this site, I think that I spent almost 4 hours just looking in awe at all the uploaded creations. In the fall of 2006, I got a very special e-mail from Julie Ebersole inviting me to be a part of the Splitcoast Design Team, affectionately know as the Dirty Dozen. Me, a Dirty Girl???…you bet I said “yes” {very emphatically!} to that invitation. I am so honored to have been a part of the “Dirt Pile.” All of those girls are so amazingly talented, not to mention so sweet…and quite witty! Since my time on the pile, several doors have opened up for me and I hope to continue progressing in the stamping community through my design work and publications. While I won’t call anyone my idol, I will certainly say there are a bunch of talented women {and men!!} out there that I can look up to in respect to those aspects of stamping.

As for the more personal side of me, I am married to the most wonderful man in the world, Tony. We live in North Texas with our beautiful daughter and adorable son. Our house is also called home by our 2 dogs, Abby and Cooper, and a sly black cat, Gracie. Right now I am a stay at home mom, but look forward to re-entering the workplace at some point in time {well, maybe}.

Here is Jen's card for this weeks challenge. Isn't this darling?! I love the little girl. And, it may just be coincidence, but Jen's sketch challenge this week is sponsored by our very own Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps. You should run over there to see how fantastic the sketch is this week.

And, here are the rest of the DT's cards.

Please link directly to the blog post or gallery pager where we can view/comment on your creation and not just the generic link to your blog. Generic blog links will be disabled or deleted. To get the full URL, click the title of your blog post (which will load a page that has just that post on it), then copy and paste the URL.

Don't forget to post a comment so we know you added a card! If you are uploading to an online gallery such as Splitcoast, please use the tag SCCC50, so that we can all enjoy your cards. We've only got about 40 days left until Christmas. How many cards do you have made now? :)
